Chios

Chios is one of the largest islands in Greece and specifically the fifth largest. On the south side of the island are the world famous and unique Mastichochoria. After all, due to the large production of mastic and citrus fruits the island is also called Myrovolos. It is one of the prevailing regions of the country that claims to be homer's origin. If you visit it in the summer you will enjoy its blue beaches while if you find yourself there during Easter you will see the custom of the rocket war in Vrontados with an exchange of fireworks between church Panagia Erithiani and church Agios Markos, the two largest parishes of the city.
